My dad just called to tell me that he is going in for brain surgery on Friday... there is a clot that they are going to try to clear and put in a stent.

    Actually, I got it wrong, dad didn't have brain surgery... it was the artery that goes up to his brain.

    The clot shattered when they tried to remove it and my dad had a stroke. But don't despair, my dad is recovering well. He has good doctors and dad is getting physical therapy up to 3 times a day. He's out of ICU, the IV's are out.

    Hopefully he'll be able to go home soon.
