I have an appointment with the MS specialist from Swedish medical tomorrow. We will discuss potential meds for me to go on now that I've stopped taking Aubagio. They don't like it when I'm not on a med.... I can't go back onto Methotrexate since I'll be having surgery within the next 2 months.
They keep suggesting meds for people who have the relapsing/remitting type of MS, but I've been secondary progressive for at least 5 years. I have no active MS lesions in my brain. They (the regular MS doctor and specialist from Swedish) frustrate me beyond belief.
Once again, I've lost faith in the medical profession.
