Caregiver? Originally published 6/6/2017

I got a phone call today about my needs. I'm hoping this means a step in the right direction towards getting a caregiver again. I qualify for 39 hours a month or 9 hours a week. It would be nice if I get one.

I'm still waiting to hear about a power scooter...

I got a call yesterday from a potential caregiver, only to be told she got hired by someone else. Oh well, I'll be meeting a different caregiver on Thursday at about 13:00. She is only available from 9-11.

Also on Thursday, I will get a visual field test at 10:40, so before the meeting with the new potential caregiver.

I got my power scooter 2 weeks ago and I'm loving it.

I'm very tired now, so time for sleep...

A new assessment

I'm going to be assessed again on May 5th... *insert eye roll here*

There aren't any available in my area, but my case manager is going to assess me again. But hopefully I'll be getting my power scooter in the next month or so and that will help.

Assessment

I had my assessment for getting caregivers today, 14 Nov 2016. It looks like I will qualify. I'll be finding out more later today.

I'll text Justin and let him know what I know so far.
